We also have a dedicated Ukrainian guidance service that can be contacted on WhatsApp +47 314 02 300.
Legal aid
We offer legal assistance in cases involving labor law, immigration law, administrative law, social security law and other cases of great welfare significance. We prioritize cases involving exploitation in the workplace.
We mainly help people who are staying in Norway. We prioritize helping people with low income and assets, and who do not receive legal assistance through other schemes.
What kind of cases we can help with:
We have particular expertise in cases of human trafficking through forced labor, and can offer potential victims close follow-up and guidance on their rights.
We also assist employees who are exposed to various forms of exploitation in the workplace, such as wage theft, threats, violations of the Working Environment Act and the General Settlement of Wages Act. We work to uncover and stop such forms of abuse.
We provide advice and legal assistance to people who experience unfair treatment in the workplace. This may include cases related to harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination and other violations of work-related laws and regulations.
We provide legal advice and can provide assistance in cases within the following areas:
- Immigration law, such as rejections from UDI
- Tenancy law, e.g. illegal deposit when renting a property
- Social security and social law, such as rejections from NAV
- Monetary claims and bankruptcy law, such as assistance in filing for attachment with the bailiff
