Lebanon is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, with as many as half a million people having been displaced due to the ongoing conflict.

The most vulnerable, including families who have had to leave their homes, have taken refuge in schools and other buildings in Beirut and other cities and the need for immediate assistance is great. Caritas Lebanon, one of the country's largest emergency response organizations, is working tirelessly to meet these needs. They have established over 30 shelters that offer protection, health care, hot meals, hygiene items and cash grants to cover shelter costs. Since the start of the conflict, they have provided assistance to thousands of people, but with the growing humanitarian crisis, they are in need of increased resources.

Hundreds of staff and volunteers are working hard to make sure that emergency aid reaches those who need it most. They offer not only material support, but also emotional and social support to those affected by this crisis. But Caritas can't do this alone.
