Bli fast giver
One of the best things you can do to fight hunger, poverty and exclusion is to be a regular donor to an organization you trust and that works for a better world.
As a regular donor to Caritas Norway, you help save and transform lives. You empower people to build a better life for themselves, their families and their communities.
Together, we help people in vulnerable situations by:
- Ensure climate-smart solutions that increase food production for the very poorest.
A world without hunger is possible! - Be quick with emergency response when disasters strike. We are there before, during and after crises!
- Provide refugees and immigrants in Norway with language training, guidance and other assistance.
With your support, we can help even more people. Thank you so much!

Gi av din tid – bli frivillig
Frivillige med flerkulturell kompetanse er svært viktige i arbeidet med flyktninger og innvandrere. Caritas trenger enda flere frivillige med god språkkompetanse og kulturforståelse.

What does the money go to:
At the local level, Caritas supports small-scale farmers through training in efficient and climate-resilient farming methods that increase yields and make people better equipped to face drought and climate change. Local savings and loan groups run by the programs enable communities to invest in production and other income-generating activities.
Organization in cooperatives helps to ensure that farmers have access to markets for the sale of their products. Furthermore, training is provided in political and social rights and democratic channels of influence. The programs give the most vulnerable in a society an opportunity to work their way out of poverty.
An important success factor for this is the ability to grow food in your own garden or in kitchen gardens close to your home.
The emergency aid can be anything from food, drinking water, blankets, warm clothes, hygiene items - to shelter, cash support, psychosocial support and simple repairs to damaged houses.
